Texas Aerial Research Service...
Banks Information Solutions, Inc. specializes in providing historical
aerial photos for sites in the state of Texas. For a very competitive
cost of $65, Banks will research and obtain all available aerial photographs
for your Texas site (three to five decades) with a conveniently quick
turnaround of one to two days. Not only do we usually include a Digital
Ortho Quad (DOQ), we are also able to digitize the photos so we can
deliver them via email at no extra charge.

Summer
Vacation...
Just like most of you, I look forward to summer! A week or two away
from the office with families and friends is our reward for all the
hard work during the
previous year. However, just getting out of town can be stressful, with
all the last minute phone calls, assignments, arrangements, etc. And
have you noticed how hard it is to finish a project because all of your
vendors seem to be out of town at the same time? On top of that, back
at the office we have to cover the phones, answer inquiries about projects
that we know nothing about, and keep things running smoothly for fellow
workers that are on vacation.
Sometimes
it seems overwhelming – this summer vacation business. But you
know what? It’s all worth it. My family and I had a wonderful
time on the beach in South Carolina earlier this month. I hope you had
a safe and enjoyable summer.

Turner named Vice President of Sales and Marketing...
Banks

announces the appointment of Wayne Turner as Vice President of Marketing
& Sales.
Mr.
Turner brings many years of experience from his work in the environmental
information and environmental investigation industries. He spent four
years selling information to engineering firms and over a year marketing
and conducting Phase I investigations.

Measuring
Distance...
Ever wonder what the distance is between two points on your FirstSearch
map? Whether you’re locating your target site or viewing your
actual report, you can easily use a measuring distance tool. From the
FirstSearch map screen, simply hold the ‘Shift’ key while
at the same time depressing your ‘Left Click’ on your mouse.
Now by moving your mouse around you will be able to view a box that
will give you the current distance and current degree of angle.
Additional Services...
You can order additional high quality ancillary services from Banks
such as aerial photos for your subject site using your FirstSearch software.
Before you click the Send button in your software to order
your FirstSearch Report, go to the Additional Services tab and select
from any of the listed ancillary services. In these fields, you will
be able to provide us with your courier and shipping information, site
information, and any special instructions. If your report has already
been run, then open your report, through the software, and click on
the Services tab on the bottom toolbar of the Search Summary
screen. Then choose from the drop down menu the service you would like
to order. When completed, click Send and the software communications
will place the requested order.
