This section of The Solution is devoted to the users of our Environmental FirstSearch software, the most powerful and advanced ASTM database tool available anywhere. In this section of each newsletter, you will be provided with
the ‘extra’ information that helps let you know that you are also receiving the best service available.

Know your site... Before requesting your search through the FirstSearch software, try to find out as much target site information that you can. Knowing your target site address, street name, zip code, and or lat/long coordinates will help reduce the time it takes to find your target site through the FirstSearch software.

Misplotted sites... Although we here at Banks Information Solutions, Inc. work non-stop for you on the geocoding of all our databases on a nationwide basis, misplotted sites are a still a common occurrence when using your FirstSearch software to run reports.

The FirstSearch software is able to help alleviate this problem by giving you the power to quickly move the sites to where they more accurately belong. You can also quickly turn any non-geocoded orphan site into a geocoded site for your report through FirstSearch.

For those occasional times when a known site for your report is not shown as a geocoded site or an unmapped orphan site, please call us and let us help you find the site so we can quickly get it into your report.
