April Sales Special on Environmental Lien and Environmental Chain of Title Searches.

Banks Information Solutions, Inc. is pleased to announce that we are discounting our Environmental Lien Search and Chain of Title Search products for the month of April. Either of these products can help you meet the new E1527-05 AAI standard for due diligence. Utilizing our own personal network of abstract researchers nationwide at the county level, Banks can better the competition on quality, turnaround time, and price.

The usual price for the Environmental Lien Search is $150 with a 10 day or less turnaround time on any site in the country. In April you can receive this product at a flat rate of $125 per parcel!

The Environmental Lien Search will check records at the appropriate County Recorder’s Office for any environmental liens filed from 1985 to present. Should any liens be found on file, a copy of that document will be made and provided to the client. Banks will also search for any deed restrictions that may be of environmental concern as well as any Activity and Use Limitations (AUL’s). In addition to lien search and restriction search, the client will also be provided with the most current vesting deed on the property. Finally, the client will be informed whether their site is located in what is considered a “Super Lien State”.

The usual price of the Chain of Title is $250 and $300 in some states with a 10 day or less turnaround time. In April you can receive this product for a rate of $225 per parcel!

Banks can provide a comprehensive Chain of Title report for any site within the United States. The report reviews public records covering all documents available, including deeds, environmental liens, AUL’s, leases that may have environmental impact, and major easements where land title records are recorded by law or custom, per the ASTM guidelines. A standard Chain of Title review includes research and a detailed report. Instruments can be obtained by prior request only. The Chain of Title report will be conducted when the client has supplied Banks with a confirmed address and current property owner name or a legal description.
